Template user flow diagram for a classic service-based marketplace business.
By Fiona Macdougall, ex-marketplace founder and UX designer for early-stage marketplaces
What a User Flow diagram?
A user flow diagram shows the path each user takes when using your product. It details all of the steps in each user journey such as how a supplier creates a listing and how customers can make a booking with a supplier.
Why do I need it?
This template will help you to think through the mechanics of how you want your marketplace to work.
I've done a lot of the hard work for you by including the classic user journeys that you might find in a service-based marketplace like Airbnb.
This document will also help you to communicate the structure of your marketplace with your developers.
How should I use it?
All you need to do is sign up duplicate this template and tailor it to your own business.
